The resort sits right on its bank, and the river is also the road in: a thirty-minute boat ride upstream, past basking gharials and egrets lifting off the water, into the park itself.

The only resort story inside the park with its own elephants. Every encounter begins with a mahout-led briefing and feeding — chain-free, cared for as partners — before entering the forest.
